Step By Step How to Format Review Hard Reset and Soft Reset
Cautions Before The Hard Reset ::
- For Completing the Format Review hard reset Code Process it took some time to complete so First charge your battery,

Can a $70 smartphone be good? Well, we have seen quite a few Leagoo devices and we are currently checking out the newest addition to their family – Leagoo M5. The producer promises stunning Hardware and Software. Well is it? Keep on reading to get to know our thoughts.
PARAMETERS
Firstly, some information about the design and the technical side of the device. It is 141.7 mm long, 71.3 mm wide and 8.7 mm thick – which is quite average for a 2016 smartphone. What is not so average, is the weight of this Leagoo model. It weighs 179 gramms which is quite heavy and feels that way in the hand. Despite the heaviness, it is a very slim device which can certainly be used in one hand. Leagoo M5 comes in three colors: titanium grey (that is the one that we own), champagne gold and galaxy white. It has three buttons on the right side of the device and there is a fingerprint sensor in the back (just below the camera). It is not the first Leagoo device with a fingerprint sensor – the other example is the Leagoo Alfa 2 (our review you can check out HERE). At the bottom of the screen you have three buttons – Home, Menu, Return (all of the are activated with a touch of your finger).

SCREEN
The Leagoo M5 is equipped with a 5 inch screen that comes with the resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The density per square ich of the screen is 294 PPI which is very high and makes the quality of the display above average. This device is packed with a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 4.0 which protects the screen from any scratches.

CAMERA
Here is something we think could be improved with the next model – Leagoo M5 comes with 8 MP rear camera and 5 MP front camera. Wheares the latter is quite average for a 2016 smartphone, the rear camera could be a little bit better (you can rarely see a newly released mobile phone with less than 13 MP). In good lighting condition the camera takes great photos. The problem is with the bad lighting or weather conditions – despite the LED flash in the back. However, we must still remember the price of this device. $60 for a 5 inch smartphone with these kinds of cameras? Well, for that price I don’t think you will find anything better. It is as good as it gets in this price range. Compared to his older brother Leagoo Z5 (our review HERE) this one has a much better camera.

HARDWARE & SOFTWARE
Leagoo M5 works on the Freeme OS 6.0 (based on Google Android 6.0 Marshmallow) although it doesn’t look very much like Android device. The processor is a quad core MediaTek MTK 6580A So system on a chip and its CPU runs at 1.3 GHz (which is normal for a clock speed). There is a 2GB LPDDR3 RAM system memory which is sufficient enough for any kinds of actions performed on a mobile device (from texting to playing games). This is a big improvement from the Leagoo Z5 and Alfas 2 which had only 1 GB RAM. For the money you pay for this device – the RAM is awesome. The internal storage is 16 GB which could be extended up to 128 GB using a micro SD card. We have nothing to complain about the internal memory – this is much more than we would have expected from a budget device.

BATTERY LIFE
This device comes with 2300 mAh battery (less than in an average smartphone released in 2016 – 2600 mAh). We would say this is another downside of the Leagoo M5. When you have a mobile device with 5 inch screen and 2 GB RAM it is isn’t enough. If you’re not doing anything too power-consumin, it should last you 12 hours. However, when playing games or surfing the Internet, we recommend carrying a charger or a powerbank with you (you can also check out our tips for saving your battery published in the Tips&Tricks section). Once again, not bad for this price, but technically who like to charge their device a couple of times a day? We hope it will be improved with the next release.

CONNECTIVITY
What you should be aware of is that this device lacks LTE. The networks which are supported are 2G and 3G which are unfortunately not as fast as 4G. This is something we would consider the MAJOR flaw and something to definitely be improved with the next model. The WIFI and the new generation Bluetooth work great and we have no complaints here.
PACKAGING
The device comes in a plain but very esthetic black box. We can finf here a full equipment inside. We are very impressed to see the following accessories:
- Product Manual and Start Guide,
- MicroUSB Cable and Wall Charger,
- USB OTG cable (This cable allows you to connect USB accessories),
- Headphones (There are good everyday earphones offering good quality sound),
- Screen Protectors.

FEATURES
Something that is definitely an extra feature is the fingerprint sensor in the back. A great addition which allows you to quickly (less than 2 seconds) unlock your device by just pressing your finger against this sensor. We must say that it works actually very well and we are suprised how fast you are able to unlock your mobile phone. However, we didn’t find it super comfortable to hold the device in one hand and touch the sensor with one finger. What would be a better option is to have the sensor in the front and use your thumb to unlock. Nevertheless, we would take LTE over fingerprint sensor anytime!

SUMMARY
We must say that this device is an interesting addition to the Leagoo family. Being so cheap, we can image that a lot of people may think very little of this device. However, we can assure you that Leagoo produces great mobile device for cheap prices. And yes, it is true that this device is not perfect (no LTE, 8MP camera, 2GB RAM) but let’s honestly say that for that kind of money ($60) this is more than enough. If you are wondering whether this device is worth your 60 bucks – we say YES. It is actually worth even more.
